K-9INE! is a gritty 11-minute UK short film written and directed by Elliott Power
The 2025 dark comedy follows Roy (Liam Thomas), a retired police dog handler, whose quiet routine is turned upside down when he invites Tea Leaf (Jamie Crew), a shoplifting door-to-door salesman, into his home.
Dorcia Studio again worked with Power to create both the title design and promotional materials to support the film’s release. In addition to the film’s hero and festival-circuit posters, the theatrical trailer is supported by DV-captured “home movies” that embrace the film’s dark, tense, and comedic atmosphere, drawing on cinéma vérité to blur the line between reality and fiction.
